Employers Questionnaire
Pro Enviro Ltd has been commissioned by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to carry out research into the skills requirements for a Low Carbon and Resource Efficient Economy. This research has been commissioned in order to get an independent, up to date, review of the current understanding and evidence of the skills requirements for a Low Carbon and Resource Efficient Economy (LCREE).
This research will focus on; identifying the LCREE skills needed, factors driving demand, mainstreaming of LCREE skills, understanding and awareness of skills requirements, identification of gaps in skills and the evidence base.
It is important that this research takes into account the needs of England’s businesses. To this end, we would be grateful if you could assist with this research by reading the definition of Low Carbon and Resource Efficient Economies and draft Low Carbon and Resource Efficient Economy Skills checklist before going on to fill in the short questionnaire to tell us about your organisation’s understanding, views and practices with regards to Low Carbon and Resource Efficient Economy skills. Alternatively we would be happy to discuss these questions with you, please contact Neil Kimpton.
The outcomes of this research will guide Defra and other government departments’ strategies and actions in moving England towards a Low Carbon and Resource Efficient Economy and will benefit the country as a whole.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
